What a freaking day!

Found out my job is being made redundant, boss is a nice guy and gave me until Friday to gether my cough together and leave.

Called the landloard to give my week's notice and booked a flight to Melbourne to stay with friends while I look for something else.

Mom just called that my grandma died in Ukraine... sadly I don't have US$3k to go pay my respects.


Sad, sad day!

Sorry to hear about your loss, I know I am new to the forum but if you don't mind some advice? A mate of mine he sent an eulogy for his dad's funeral, he couldn't afford to go over either. Maybe you could write it and someone could read it on your behalf.Hope things pick up for you
