What cheeses me off

Is it just me or do others find the Artemis II mission a bit of a yawn?
The program is not any more advanced than the Apollo missions 60years ago and are using rocket technology that are left overs from the Space shuttle program. They can't even reuse the solid rocket boosters which were reusable during space shuttle So yes it's a bit Meh..

It's not a science mission; that's mere pretence.

It's a repeat of 1950s-style political posturing. Last time - beat the Russians; this time - beat the Chinese.
And there was just far too much US style "Glory to God" rubbish from the astronauts.

The washing on the line was almost dry and had visitors over. They just left and it's bucketing down.

Never mind - the rain and cool is good

Why?

It's not the most hospitable environment.
Because it’s there?

But mostly as a prelude to going to, or trying to go to Mars.

The way the current administration has devalued science and NASA is quite concerning.

And yet they’re still going to the moon. Give them credit for that.

So now I’m RCO. The reason for Ch 7 effong up the landing was because Adelaide was on a 30 minute delay. You’d think they’d thought that through a little better.
