There’s a certain type of person who thinks if they pay for something they can do what they like and damn anyone else. Obviously including flinging faeces all over the wall.

I've been so devoid of Christmas cheer this year that I haven't touched any of my Christmas jumpers and have only been to 1 Christmas market, which was only a byproduct of catching up with a friend!

We aren't big on presents for Christmas now that the gkids are 18 & 16 but we do a Kris Kringle/Secret Santa for our family at Christmas lunch.

I think dentists have fantastic sense of humour.

I have 2 broken teeth that are not fully broken and need to be removed. Cost is $394 per tooth and with laughing gas bill comes to around $1200. Medibank doesn't cover much. Now another tooth has broken next to one of the other broken ones.

Please send me a treatment plan. And I received an email with a cost of $3800 to remove 3 teeth, 9 fillings and laughing gas.

I struggled to justify $1200 and if they think email would change my mind they are kidding.

We called some dentists in Thailand mainly dental hospital in Chiang Mai. Tooth extraction is between $50 and complex $150. Fillings are $30-$50 and laughing gas is $50 to maxinum $100.

I can have a holiday in Thailand and get my teeth done for the price they want here. Ridiculous.

The S Digital Dental Clinic (Invisalign and Implant Centers) คลินิกทันตกรรม ดิเอส สาทร (Suanplu 8 Sathorn)

Not to be confused with the S Dental Clinic Bangkok! Which is a different place!

For S Digital Dental, it says you can book online, but it’s never worked for me, and they don’t have a website. You can contact them on facebook to make an appointment.

The price of their implants are pretty much the same as Australia. They use the same german i plants, so there’s not really that much cost saving by the time you add in the airfares and accommodation. So if you need that done, better to have it here in Oz.

Where they really come in cheap if for the pre- and subsequent work, things like making the crowns or bridges. Or fillings etc.

WCMO is the curse of the catch-22 of the unprotected connection.

You need to build in enough time to comfortably make a connection, but when all goes right, you often waste time, because the next flight doesn't open for check-in until T-3 hours.

OK, cheese is probably a bit too strong here... just mere conceded annoyance.

Yes, I'm sitting in a food court right now writing this and waiting for my check-in to open. Kind of getting the experience of waiting for a flight without lounge access.
