I kind of get the opposite. ‘Oh, I’d hate to travel so much. I prefer home’. From someone whose 3 kids and grandkids all live within 5 minutes from their home as opposed to us with one in the UK. I just say that if I want to see my son at least 18 months I have to and can’t just pop into the car for a 5 minute drive. I don’t see her that often anymore.

So I am at a meeting today of, mostly 50yr plus people who are not short of readies. It is a bit involved with technical stuff regarding a Crown lease. During questions I've had my hand raised and the microphone comes to me. We are sitting in the front row. I turn around to the row behind me and say; "First of all stop kicking the back of my chair" then tun back and ask the question. These unctuous cough then start to joke about my request. Bet they were all school bullies. The offender didn't recommence.
