Me too quilt covers get changed weekly with the sheets - i use cotton sheets/duvet cover all year round, i loathe the feel of flanalete/winter sheets. I do have a light weight quilt and a medium weight quilt which I swap out as needed (and they can be joined together to make a heavy weight) but cant say i find it difficult to swap the covers.

Invisible zips would be good as the press studs can come undone quite easily, but I find the buttons fine.

I don’t use a top sheet so wash the quilt cover when I do my sheets. It’s easy peasy. I wish they would make more quilt covers with zips rather than buttons or press studs
How can it possibly be easy peasy 🤷‍♀️. Using the method above?

They are still quoting 4-6 weeks but AusPost told me they were being processed in about 10 days. I got a message on business day 4 after submission that my passport was on its way back to me.

Her indoors put hers in at the local PO Thursday last week, was delivered 2 days ago to our address, registered mail, so it now back at the PO and she has until 7th July to collect, we are away at the moment, also we live in Canberra, don’t know if that is a factor.

Lay the quilt cover on the bed. Grab quilt in one corner and put inside top left corner of quilt cover. Do the same with the right hand top corner. Then shake from the top. I’ll demo it one day when you deliver the Fantales 😝
We have a SK quilt. i can't shake it that much. 😅. That's why I like the roll thing above.

What's this quilt thing?

#WCMO dunno why they call it quilts because they are doonas OK? 🇦🇺.

The best doonas are the "Australian wool quilts" . the bloke sells them out of Costco around May

Ahem. WCMO is when we have been running with particular words for decades then someone gets a thought bubble and suddenly everything old is wrong. Until of course the cycle returns and then the youngies think they've invented something when it reality it's been around for years.

doona

A 'doona' in essence is just another name for a continental quilt or duvet- let me explain why. For many Australians the term 'continental quilt' was the favoured word until 1980, after this it was referred to as a 'doona'. This derives from the Danish word 'dyne', meaning down and feathers.

AHEM

The name "Doona" was invented by a bloke in Victoria called Kimpton back in the 1970s for his brand of quilts
I'm way before then and called them quilts. Further It sounds like a trademark name then, in which case it can't be used to describe any other like products not made by them. Bit like champagne et al.

And mine was made in China 😅

Our winter doona/quilt/duvet is a Chinese silk 2/3 blanket equivalent. It is strangely light but very warm.
