What cheeses me off

microsoft not having the same behaviour across all their products.
In particular. mouse clicking onto different windows. Click over the an email the cursor moves to the location where clicked, and does not retain cursor at previous. So immediate focus and cursor change.
Click into a word document nah cursor retains previous location and doesn't move.

So cut and pasting info into email, I want to paste into the previous cursor location, but click wrong and the paste goes onto the wrong spot.

Agree - and I'd put people paying at shops with mobile-phone credit cards. Face rec not working, enter pin, wave the wrong end on the reader, oops need to double click, try a few times... Just get the card out while things are being scanned and tap the chip reader when ready. Or, in my case, just bring the watch to the reader & done.

I don't know, I reckon it might take me longer to drive home and get the card. I don't have all my physical cards in my physical wallet. I do have all cards on my phone.
Try doing face ID with a mask.

This site doesn't have a block function. The ignore function doesn't adequately provide the functionality required.
Luckily I have a built in block function. My brain detects the person and my forefinger automatically keeps turning the scroll wheel.

Yes, but they got it wrong, apparently the pitch wasn't meant to be that overcooked.

Fingers crossed for more than a 2 1/2 day game.

No let Australia score another 150 then India all out for less than 150 by lunch on day 3. Poetic justice for India.

IVRs that ask you for member/account number and pin, but then do not pass these validated details to the agent who answers you call.

Im on the phone to Qantas Frequent Flyer, re some original routing credit claims because they routinely fail to respond to email claims, have to repeat my FF# and Full name. No worries but then he asks for dob, mother maiden name and contact address (never had to provide that just to follow-up on a case before) then tells me he cant validate me, even though I know is 100% correct. Threatens to lock my account!

If the IVR validates me with a pin # why do i have to provide all this extra detail before being able to even state why I am calling? Think the dude was trying to steal personal info.

Hang Up dial again, get another agent who miraculously only wanted to know my FF# and Full Name.

Mother's maiden name. I wonder how AJ feels about that gender specific paternal data?

Further he didn't specify whether Mothers maiden name should be firstname last name, just last name nor did he ask me how to spell it. and whilst my mother maiden name is relatively common there are 3 accepted spellings so goodness know what he typed.

That is too much ... any idea where the centre was based?
dob, mother maiden name and contact address
never asked for these details like ever ...

This is an existing issue with the QFF IVR system ... I have to provide my details every time the call gets answered offshore. Now, I'm not saying that there is a link between offshore call centres and the need to provide FF details even if provided earlier, but this has been my experience. Anytime I get connected to AU/NZ based, I was never asked to confirm any details. They do ask for full name, not the FF number.

Mothers maiden name
It's just me perhaps, when asked for mums maiden name, I always give her first name before marriage ... it's just my habit to avoid any confusion on my part ...

Hang Up dial again, get another agent who miraculously only wanted to know my FF# and Full Name.
IME this is the protocol for offshore systems ... maybe it's the local laws where the centre is operating to verify some additional details? Just an assumption here.

Based on accent I would say Manilla which in recent experience always seems to result in problem not being resolved; where as Fiji and Cape Town are hit and mis if you get the right agent.

"Baby on board" stickers.

This does not give you the right to drive like a maniac.

Seriously though my daughter is 6 years old and I've never felt I needed a "Baby on board" sticker on rear window. What have I missed? Special discounts? No tolls? Free parking?

What cheese me off - websites that have a date field and forces you to mouse click into a calendar and then more clicking to select a month and day. Why didn't the web designer allow me to simply type in my date using my keyboard ???
Malaysian Airlines where selecting the arrow to proceed to the next month, closes the calendar as the Back button is just above it.

This is because americans always get the day month confused. :)

Airlines call you from an Unknown/No Called ID number, leave a voice message without the number to call them back ... #useless!

Could be wrong, but I was told that these stickers were an indication to emergency service workers that there were children in the vehicle in the event of an accident.
Nah. The vast majority are by themselves in that car most of the time. It’s virtue-signalling by people who think having children is a virtue that’s worth signalling.

Like those My Family stickers that were popular a few years ago.
