Where you situated my friend - I don't gotta cash these hard earned points to get that drink do I?
Will let you know when you will have the letter.
We will have so many Kf points that we will be able to drink it in one of our trip.

It was Krug champagne in First in December so I went the second glass.Bollinger in business on the way home from the US.

The SQ coughtails in business are great as well. Tried nearly every single one of them, I think there are 8 selections in total.

Not sure what coughtails they offer in first, but you better scramble more points now, only 3 weeks to go!

Yes the heat is on!
Do we prepay the tax man and other stuff before the 15th March.
So many questions......
0.65 cents a KF point means the US in J for about $1300 plus the booking fees.
I like to do that!

Bugger, I just noticed there is a transposition error in the heading of this thread.

Bugger nothing Alby.
You got us moving early on last use of the Westpac Visa before 15th March.
I will do an early BAS on Visa for Mrscove prior to the end of 1 for $1 points as I did mine in February.

I received my first annual voucher in Nov10 (must have just made the cut-off). I had to ring KF to find out how to use it....a little box pops up on the award booking screen...very easy to miss. I recently tried to use the voucher for an award booking in Sep11, it would not accept it, so another call to KF and the voucher is only valid for 6 months, not 12 months as mentioned by others. So thanks for nothing!

But my biggest beef is with the reduced earn rate, a huge let-down. I don't know of any better alternatives, might have to check-out the Citi card.

Would AFF consider conducting an online survey so we can formalise our concerns to Westpac and KF.

Lastly, yes this thread should be linked to the KF thread where there are comments on this matter already.

The only problem with Citi Select card is the income criteria, it is $120,000. If the Kris earn rate for the Select card is $1 per mile, even with that hefty $700 annual fee, will be happy to go for it.

Mrscove does not think I would need 8 coughtails on a flight so I think I had better run on Krug and Bolly depending on the seat availability on points.
Sometimes the connection from America to SIN to PER is not that wonderful.

thank heavens i found this site!! i have been paying $600k a month onto my westpac kf visa only to realise they changed the redemption rate 2 months ago without telling me...
the citi select card looks the goods but how effective is their internet banking facility? transfer from westpac trading account into citibank account overnight and then immediate transfer to the card i would presume?
is it true if the card is in credit you earn no points? that could get tricky when paying big bills on the same day?

Bugger and Citi can go hand in hand.
We have Citi QF points running fine now.
Citi Kris is not yet working properly after 2 months so this could happen.
I use Westpac Kris Amex for BAS taxes as the ATO might share the cost burden with a tax deduction for the fee.

Can somone clarify how long these vouchers last, I thought they were valid for 6 months, but the last posts says 12 month and others have also mentioned this timeframe.

Final vouchers issued end of 2010 are valid for 12 months until 31/12/2011. Previously, vouchers were valid for 6 months.

Also note that at the time I used mine you could get up to 25K points discount via the website per person. Not what the voucher says but at the time I booked the SQ website allowed this (perhaps a reason to book earlier rather than later!)
