UPDATE:

Received a call from Westpac in response to my letter. They acknowledged that they breached the terms of the offer by not awarding the points within the 12 weeks. Said the missing points (80,000) would come on the next statement. When pushed about compensation that said 'sorry' was sufficient compensation. I told them that this was utterly unacceptable and offensive for them to be trying this on given a breach of contract had occured. They offered $100 refund of fees. I took the offer. Given I paid $195 for this card it now means that 100,000 QFF points have been obtained for $95.

If you have not received the full points within 12 weeks I encourage you to contact Westpac and push for compensation. Do not accept an 'I'm sorry' response.

UPDATE 2: $100 was instantly added to my account.

Same result for me a few weeks ago. I signed up a few weeks before the additional 20k so eventually got the full promised 80k.
 
My 80K points plus 5K apology bonus arrived today. They had already refunded annual fee for the 20K mess up. In total it's been more than 17 weeks since making the minimum spend.

Overall very happy with the result but not impressed with my first interaction with Westpac.

Will be cancelling the card immediately.
 
Two options for you:

1) Check your internet browsing history to see which link you used.

2) Call Westpac to confirm that you signed up via the 100K link. If they say you didn't get out now with a fee refund before any points post at all.

They bounced me around for a while, but long story short, I got my 100k on the statement that I met the minimum spend. Points credited to qantas account within a couple days of the statement.

Why is Westpac customer service so bad with this? I have a feeling their systems can't accommodate customer queries that well, and coupled with a careless mentality, well you know... this! Heck, its 2018 and they can't even write or receive emails directly. A joke really.

Even when emailing Brian he just forwards the email to someone else who couldn't be bothered to delivery great customer service, so I guess this culture and mentality is coming from the top, and it won't change any time soon.

Good luck all dealing with this mob. I'm taking my business elsewhere.

Maybe they are deliberately useless and delay awarding bonus points and lounge passes. Im sure a portion of customers won’t have the time/desire/will to follow it up so this equals savings for the bank.

I’m cancelling this week once I spend the partial annual fee refund this week.
 
Has anyone's experience been faster than 12 weeks? I'd like to go from Qantas to Altitude points ... but only after the bonus is paid out.

My bonus points hit my statement on the second cycle but I'm still yet to receive them or my standard points from my first statement 6 weeks ago.
 
My points arrived on the 2nd statement on Westpac.
