Westpac Altitude Availability

Hi
I've just found out this site and has answered a few questions I had. One remains: Is it true that the altitude program, through the the altitude travel can offer availability in any flight any day as long as you have the points they ask for? (regardless if the amount is excessively high compared to the FF)
I have the Qantas FF and it is virtually impossible to use the points I have in the dates I'm available to use them.
I'll be thankful if someone can comment on this issue.

Yes, you can search for any flight that is available. You also get SC's and FF points for any flight booked this way.
