Runways are too short for A220moorabin
Runways are too short for A220moorabin
Wouldn't Moorabbin or tyabb have been the logical second airports for Melbourne? 2 airports on the west side of the city connected by the better freeways were never going to coexist with any success.
Its not so much MEL's capacity... Just MEL is so far from the south east corridor. I know its not going to happen, just one of those wish they did it in the south east/east corridor instead kind of thing.Like Bankstown in Sydney, AFAIK the runways are too short for commercial jet ops. So not going to happen.
Besides, MEL has room to expand - so hardly any argument for a second Melbourne airport (besides the existing AVV).
That would be discriminating against rural people who need to get to the City.
Or connect domestically . When I fly from Armidale to, say, Perth then I should not have to change airport and traverse the whole of Sydney.Or connect internationally
And delayed departure by about 100 minutes this morning, arriving 80 minutes late into WSIThat’s our A321 freighter tomorrow provided no delays again
Is this the first WSI delay?80 minutes late into WSI
Nah, our freighter the other day was delayed too.Is this the first WSI delay?

Looks very nice. Not sure if this has been posted here yet or not, but the video in the link below provides a good perspective on what the "customer experience" will be like, even showing glimpses of what I assume is a lounge facility

Did think it was interesting the signage says "Welcome to Sydney". I'd have thought it should have read "Welcome to Western Sydney".
WellSo- is anyone booked on the inaugurals?
Looks like I’ve missed the boat on WSI-OOL 25/10, but WSI-MEL still available
Do?
What’s the go with the first inbounds? Will they be positioning only?
