Wendouree allocations and general discussion

First year green crayon. Ordered 3 of everything. Missed out on the straight Malbec and 24b Shiraz.

Silly question, but how does one get a tax invoice. I haven't fully unpacked the cartons, but nothing obviously included. Do they send one out by post?

Yes, I received a hand written invoice in the mail last year

Usually by mail!

Red Crayon, 10th year ordering. Card got hit yesterday - with the 6 x 24B and 3 x Malbec removed, I missed 3 others I ordered.

Maybe the -3 was due to low/no stock, or just to keep it in a multiple of 6

An interesting development to my order....
I received my allocation in the post last week and unboxed it in the cellar over the weekend. I am Green Crayon and ordered 3x everything including MOA. The receipt posted separately suggested 3x everything except for 24B and Malbec.
The actual delivered order was:
3x MOA
6x Cabernet
3x Shiraz
6x Cab Malbec
I guess I take that as a positive that I have received 3x of the Cab and 3x of the Cab Mal at the lesser price of $60 (compared to $75) that I was charged for based on the Shiraz Mataro and Shiraz Malbec price. Just to be clear, I am certainly happy with what I received but just thought I'd share the experience.

Sounds like my order last year, receipt did not match the delivery.

I'm the same as you. Green, first order received last year was a mixed 6 including the muscat. Did the same this year minus the muscat, no hit. Still time I suppose.
CC got hit yesterday for about a quarter of what I ordered. A lot worse than the last year. The only difference this year is I didn't order the Muscat that I really disliked from my previous year order. The message is loud and clear.

Not here to judge but I couldn’t cope with a “no soup for you” unless you order the Muscat vibe.

That is what I thought I'd do this year
This year, didn't order any MoA and got everything I requested (5 x 6 packs, start August).
Last year I included MoA and didn't get what I asked for
Year before got "sorry, not sorry" letter.
Year before got most...

There is no method to the madness...
