I know that many of you are enjoying Matt's AFF on Air podcasts. As you probably know this is a free service available to all our members. But did you know that Matt also conducts regular webinars over at Frequent Flyer Solutions, our sister website.

Many Australians collect Qantas Frequent Flyer points by default. But with 1 in 3 Australian credit card transactions earning Qantas points, Qantas struggling to answer the phone, and millions of Australians competing for the same Classic Reward seats on Qantas and its partners, it can be very difficult to redeem Qantas points to international destinations.

Virgin Australia’s international network may be limited, but Virgin partners with some unique airlines that offer reward seats to Velocity members. If you need to call Velocity, they even answer the phone. Plus, once Velocity resumes offering the ability to transfer points to Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer miles, this will open up more reward seats for Velocity members across the entire Star Alliance network!

In the next Frequent Flyer Solutions webinar at 8pm (AEST) on 20 July 2022, Matt will explain in detail how to find and book reward seats on Virgin Australia and each of Velocity Frequent Flyer’s partner airlines. Tune in to find out why you shouldn’t underestimate Velocity Frequent Flyer if you want to fly overseas on points.

This one-hour webinar will include:

  • How to find and book award availability on each of Velocity’s partner airlines, including video demonstrations
  • Award availability trends and where to find Velocity reward seats to destinations such as Asia, Europe, Hawaii and Canada
  • The quirks of Velocity reward seat bookings
  • Virgin’s new partnership with United and upcoming Qatar Airways collaboration
  • The benefits of choosing a credit card with an option to transfer points to Velocity
  • What to expect when Velocity resumes allowing point transfers to KrisFlyer
  • The opportunity to ask questions
  • And much more!
Join Matt at 8pm (AEST) on Tuesday, 20 July 2022 for the next Frequent Flyer Solutions webinar.

You can find out more and register HERE. Note that unlike our free podcasts, this Frequent Flyer Solutions event does cost $39.95 to attend. It's cheaper for Frequent Flyer Solutions paid members.
