We got no alcohol... but what would you like to drink?

We got a couple of milkshakes being thrown around here. Begs to think that perhaps airlines and/or airline lounges should stock some ice cream and a mixer behind the bar... though I suppose that might be too "premium" to be allowed to be ordered free-reign (especially on board, where having ice cream at all is one of those rare-ish treats).

Or, at least flavoured milk...

FWIW I don't mind a nice malted vanilla milkshake, or a banana one (esp. with fresh banana rather than banana flavouring).

Rather surprised no one has piped up with "tomato juice" or "spicy tomato juice". It's not my cup of tea, but it seems to be an old time favourite for many. In fact, I remember that BA were (maybe they have now successfully) trying to sneakily get rid of tomato juice on Euro flight carts (to save weight and costs of course), which came very much to the chagrin of several members on the FT BAEC board...

I wish all airlines and lounges were alcohol free! Would make for a much nicer flying experience - and airlines would get more creative with an alcohol-free beverage menu.

Cathay's Oriental Breeze is delicious.

Agree re the CX Oriental Breeze, I usually have at least two when I fly with them.

bossreggie and the other drunkards er drinkers :p should be thankful that we leave the booze for them.

I would love to have a diet range of soft drinks such as Sprite Zero and a diet lemon flavoured drink served ice cold in my WP coloured can holder.

Or if served in a glass then lots of ice please and leave the can please.

No alcohol? You are kidding right? What sort of airline are you runni....

I am quite comfortable with most soft drinks including ginger beer. I love to have my drinks icy cold though including beer.

Well as another of the drunkards I rescind my previous choice.
Have just knocked the top off a Seppetsfield 1965 vintage port.I now demand it to be served on any flight I am on.so there.

Being diabetic anything without sugar works for me. Unfortunately this usually means a choice of diet coke, diet coke or diet coke in planes and lounges... And I prefer it from a can or bottle I can see. Been caught before with full sugar coke which is always fun... lol

Lemon Lime and bitters if I want a drink that is different that is non alcoholic, I know the Sydney VA lounges makes them.

Other choices are usually, tea if I want something hot or just plain coke.

The strawberry milkshake idea is a good one but I don't think I ever seen that choice anywhere.
