Maybe I don't understand, have read all the threads. Booked tsv-syd down (tsv-Bne-syd). Return Bne-tsv, business.
When I looked on qf, shows 48k business, classic award.
When I phoned, agent charged 82k, said 48k is economy. Booked trip. Looked again on site checking I wasn't confused. Still shows 48k for business, must be me, asking ya'all to confirm either way. I chose to use only pts.
Agent understood process.
TIA

48000 is the classic level minimum, so you were charged right.

If you choose to use only points you will pay more in points than you would if you choose a mix of cash + points.
48000 is the minimum and would require a cash co-payment of probably ~$300 or so.

Thank you, think I get it now. I was just thinking of that old ad advertising mum deodorant, the girl says something like she couldn't get along w/out her Mum. I'm not thinking of deodorant but thought I couldn't get along without AFF.
Reminder to self, do not book until you check with the experts, AFF. May sound o/t but meant sincerely.
