Waiting for DSC offers - do you do it?

I'm waiting for one last round of DSC before the MASA's are canned.

I asked about these at the Loyalty Lunch and was told that Qantas I'll definitely keep doing them but they are random (as in the timing of them being sent out) and used as a marketing tool. So I think we can expect to get them but you won't know when. Def rewards those who leave bookings to the last minute.
