that it will all be under AA flight rules and booking classes, however...

if it is in W class for transpac sectors on QF (AA code) with the A380 is there any chance it will up me to premium economy? (am qf gold... but this probably will make no difference in the context of the question...)

on qantas.com;

American Airlines® (AA)
GLMNSV
BHKY
DIJ
AFP
Discount Economy
Economy
Business
First

there is no mention of W class AA booking codes?

Help would be appreciated :)

So if booked as W class on the the AA codeshare I expect you will get zilch QF points as W is not listed in QF points earning table. :(

(Worth editing you post as it has a lot of spare space & characters not displaying)

No chance at all, unless its an OPT-UP, W class is AA's third lowest yielding economy class, so youre well and truly in cattle i'm afraid
