VS & SQ Reward flights

When I went to book a VS reward flight with SQ almost 2 years ago VS said that rewards on SQ in Business were "Temporarily Unavailable".

As I now look to book another flight I notice the same thing on the VS website. "Redemptions on SQ vin Business & First Class are unavailable until further notice.

Anyone know why or for how long?
