My Virgin Velocity cc is up for renewal and I have just been charged the fee. I am torn between just cancelling it now or applying for the reward voucher? Since the benefit of the 4 free flights has been removed, I find that I have less 'fondness' for it. I know this is a new 'enhancement?' has anyone called to cancel and been convinced to stay and got their voucher?

Call up to cancel and see if they will waive/refund the annual fee.

I was only offered 50% off annual fee a few weeks ago so I cancelled it completely. I wonder if they are getting more generous again because of many cancellations.
