Virgin Specials App thoughts/experiences

I have this on my iphone 4s with iOS5 and whilst it's a good idea, I find it very poorly executed and buggy!

A fee examples:

- it often alerts me on the the weekend (it just did it a few min. ago), even though there are no happy hour specials on the weekend!
- it only sometimes alerts on weekdays
- it often comes up with from null to null for one or two of the specials, sometimes for all of them!

Does anyone else use it? If you do, what device and how have you found it?

It seems pretty useless. Nothing's come up for my alerts.

I set up an alert and then Happy Hour disappeared. I deleted the alert hoping to get Happy Hour back, but nothing.

I was using it and found it fine (but did get the Sat Happy Hour alerts) but the latest update downloaded this week is completely useless. Happy Hour has disappeared and I get spammed with about 20 alerts a day, many of which don't actually exist and never Happy Hour. VA fail!

I used it a couple of times..found it pretty useless most of the time so never look at it now

Agree, now if they had one for J happy hour that worked it would be popular!

I found the null null thing is fixed by pulling down to refresh.

Suffering from no happy hours now and of course got the Saturday happy hour alerts. In fact it was Tuesday to Saturday happy hour alerts.

I didn't have the happy hour alert set but I did/do have an alert on SYD-ZQN for fares in Winter <$250. (Skiing) It popped up a couple of times showing very early June dates, but then a few weeks ago there was one smack bang in the middle, and got a $400 return flight (direct) to ski next year.

I haven't experienced the other bugs you guys have mentioned.
