Last September Virginmobile ran a promo with 10k bonus signup and ongoing points on new telephone accounts.

I signed up a new phone for work and have been receiving the month points for the company phone bill - nice. I know they had the right contact and vmembership numbers.

They are still holding out on the bonus points.

Anyone else had this problem?

Just off the phone from the Velocity membership call centre (Phillipines perhaps?).

They say allow another 4-10 weeks after lodging my telephone enquiry as they have to go back to Virgin Mobile.

Do they pay interest on points for travel not taken? just a joke.

I had to call and ask for my 10k points. I was told another 4-6 weeks or something but complained and got put throguht to someone else and they said they would email virgin Mobile. Got the points within 3 days from that.

OK thanks for the feedback on that. I don't have any trips planned with Velocity points so I just keep it on my 'tickle' list.

However I think I'll be doing more Velocity points after the Qantas points transfer shinanigan has been carried out.

you have to be a new member and sign a 24 month contract with virgin. there is a lump sum bonus you get once u sign up.

also you get 3 points per dollar spend on ur phone bill.

woohoo, the 15,000 sign up points came through today.

also, the nice little 3 pts per $ is now trickling in each month from the company phones.

VirginMobile are a pain to deal with, cheap though.
