Virgin international lounge at Melbourne is it the house and is there a charge??

Off to the airport this morning and was just checking out Virgins nternational lounge at Melbourne Airport seems they want us to book the lounge $80 ahead as a standard charge or as gold members flying business is this free or is there another lounge it’s 5 am and I’m too tired to try and work this out lol

Yes im a gold member, have my daughter with me as a plus one and hubby isnt gold but he is also on a business class ticket. when i checked this morning it did say free access on the virgin site then when you clicked on the lounge link it had an $80 pp charge so was just making sure that wasn't the case. i flew this time last year not sure if that lounge wasn't open or i wasn't a gold member then but i cant for the life of me think what lounge i used then....

Hubby get access via Business ticket.

You get access with a guest (daughter) as a Gold.

(Not really pertinent here, but depending on your daughter's age, she may have had access under VA accompanying child policy anyway.)

Could Dragonpass (get free membership via MyRegus) get an additional guest in for GBP19? The House seems to be on the list for this. I haven't used it, but I might try to get an additional guess into HKG Club Altus if HX are still flying, that is.

Pleased to say it’s extremely quiet in here very relaxing and the breakfast quite lovely, very nice lounge.

As per information online , the lounge access is complimentary for VA gold/platinum members and accompanying guests entitlement is 1 adults+2 children.

However for guests not VA Gold/Platinum travelling on business class ticket , the access is complimentary but they cannot have any accompanying guests.
