[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Australian airline Virgin Blue is planning to incorporate SMS technology into its reservation and check-in system.[/FONT]

Customers will also be able to receive their itinerary via SMS and use a GPRS or 3G-enabled phone to make changes to their reservation. [/FONT]

I participated in the QF trial of sms check-in.

Very handy it was too - check-in in the back seat of the taxi on the way to the airport!

Not sure about DJ though - probably forgotten.

I participated in the QF one as well - once. The reader could not discern the 2D barcode on my T18s screen. :-|

I never had a problem like that, luckily. The only odd thing was at least twice being presented with a "thick" boarding pass, because the a/c was refuelling and I couldn't keep the "thin" one on for the walk to the door!
