Virgin Blue Priority Queue

I have had no problems. My young daughter and I flew to Adelaide on the 27th of December and upon arrival the check-in queues were nearly out the door. As I am a Velocity silver member, we proceeded straight to proiority check-in and were called in almost immediately.
Flying back Melb yesterday we just checked in normally as the line was virtually nonexistent, but I did notice we got checked in before the one woman who was waiting in line at priority check-in.
