virgin blue exit row seat

when taking a virgin blue exit row seat and the aircraft is boarded from the front and rear exits,will the pax board from the front of a 737 700 and a 737 800 or an Embraer(or arent the Embraers boarded from the rear of the craft?

Hi, it probably varies from location to location but usually it goes something like this:

737-700 - 1 Exit row - pax board via the front steps
737-800 - 2 exit rows - pax in first exit row board via front steps / pax in second row board via rear steps
E190 - 1 exit row - pax board via front steps

From experience and memory I think one row is classified as front and one classified as the back. So depends which exit row you have.

They usually don't police it too strictly so go with the one with the shortest queue.

I have always boarded from the front for row 15 (second exit row) on the 738.

IME, 3/4 of the plane boards from the front, and the back stairs generally have quite a short queue.

Might as well ask, they don't seem to have a problem with filling them with people who haven't paid for them.

Not on DJ, but on QF I have asked before and been given at check-in.
