Nope. CRV59 works just fine for me .. searched CBR to multiple destinations yesterday. Was able to see the "special fare" tag to I think Elevate & Business Saver fares.

I think the CRV59 code doesn't work if you travel date is less than 7 days from date of searching/booking. May be that's why you were having issues?

Did a dummy search today, CBR-LST return for mid to late July.

First screen shot is WITHOUT the CRV59, note - there is no Special Fare tag to any of the search results



Edited the trip, added the CRV59 and voila, you can see the Special Fare tag to the search results



Edited the trip again, changed the travel date to less than 7 days from today (date of booking) and you can see that the Special Fare tag is not shown.

Just sharing a new promo code FSX46 which I don't think has been posted yet.

I found it a few days ago on the NRMA members page. The T&C say it's valid til 30 June 2021 but I've just checked and it still works for flights in the future....

None that I'm aware of.

As far as I can tell, the only current working codes are CRV59 and FSX46. Both can only be used on bookings 21+ days in advance and have basically identical conditions/discounts.

Just to note I'm looking & have booked flights end of June 2022.
End tip of the current DSC promo.

I note that flights are released 331 to 333approx days out, even reward availability.
Yet these discount codes valid for 330 days outs.
So I've noticed there's a couple days you can buy flights / rewards yet can't use these codes.

Also as a separate note I noticed on flights I was looking at they released J rewards, but no Y rewards on same flight yet as the flight just release the Y section was empty.

Well is SHoliday's in state I'm looking flights at that time, so maybe, but it's just couple days between release of flights & codes working.
I'm thinking it's just how VA IT or how they do things.

Not sure if this has been said already, but I'm noticing quite a few blackout dates. Seems to be from December 18 - Jan 2. The search was MEL - ADL.

Just went to use CRV59 for Christmas/New Year flights myself and it appears that it indeed has a blackout period from 18/12 through to 2/1. Whilst not unexpected, does anyone have a code that works within this period?

As per screen snip, although it covers travel until June 2022. GQT58 was only valid for use until 1/11/2021

Ok, so after a short chat to VA on the phone, I informed them in changing a booking of mine that the promo codes I have, even one through my employer (we used to fly VA on corporate level once upon a time!) that no codes were working for me. She gave it a go through some corporate ID separate area on their system & the CRV59 worked fine, I got the discount which the current online booking wasn't allowing me.

Great J prices for VA atm, tick over 2hunj for MEL-CFS

hmm, well it worked thru the call centre staffer's corporate ID section of her system. whatever that is.
It didn't work on my end, as didn't any of my known codes.

Maybe there winding back some of these free for all codes.....Time for the nifty, knowledgeable AFF's to get hold of some new ones.

Yes had the same thing when trying to book ROK- MEL 31 Mar - 06 Apr 2022. I first thought it was due to School hols in VIC but they don't start until the 9th. Or because I booked during the recent specials that finished Monday night?? At least flying down gets me one flight of Double Choice SC - should push me from SG to WP
