If you book the last VA SYD-MEL flight on Thursday 7 August, and the first MEL-SYD on Friday 8 August, Virgin will host a night of complimentary entertainment for you while you're in Melbourne. A "curated night of music, sport, food and culture", they're calling it. You just have to book those two flights and then register.

I'd definitely consider this, even being based in Melbourne, IF there wasn't a new puppy at home.

$290 (at the lite fare) for those events is a steal and it'd make a great story.

Does not sound worth it, a pub band, a noisy one eyed AFL crowd, a cold pie and no sleep.Hey , I live in Melbourne. Also recently saw the new Vecloty add, Velocity means fast , not with their new points earning table and it's certainly not wonderful either

Oh wow, I haven't done a full on party flight run in years. This is very appealing to me.
Unfortunately I'll be stuck in Canberra for work that night, otherwise I'd have tried to get a group together to do this.
