Friend of mine is trying to book Prague to Brisbane next 10 May, Virgin codeshare on QR. For the 3 options that day, economy seats come up as Virgin Rewards, but no revenue seats. Searching on QR, there are economy revenue seats aplenty.

Ignoring why they might want to book VA rather than QR, can anyone suggest why there may be reward seats and not revenue, booking via Virgin?

Easy....the VA codeshare can only be booked when travel originates in Australia...that is the same for all VA partners. Reward seats are never codeshare.
