VS is terminal 3 at LHR where as LH & BMi are Terminal 1. The Star Alliance lounge is most definately T1 cause the T3 Star Lounges are SQ and SAS.

Good TR and thanks for the photos.VS Upper Class is out for me though-I detest the herringbone seating.

Have you tried it? The VS herringbone is very different to the version used by CX.

More space at the top end, actual mattress etc.

I agree. The herringbone seats that AC & CX use are not comfortable to me and also kinda small. I liked the VS product however.

Interesting, nice report - I thought the herringbone style Air NZ Business Premium was the same as Upper Class, but the NZ product seems a lot more spacious.

On the new 773's it rocks - the best Business class I have travelled in - best sleep in an aircraft I have ever had.

Aside:

I see you are on a DJ A332 in Business soon; overnight flight, so limited menu, I hope you sleep well

Keep a look on these threads for updates I'll be doing soon:

Nice report skywalkerLAX. Interesting that your SYD check in experience was very similar to mine when I flew J with VS last year. Utter disinterest bordering on rude. Although, our flight turned out to be horrible, whereas at least yours was good.

HaydenSydney - I wouldn't necessarily recommend VS as a must try any more. They used to be fantastic, but have seriously declined. When I worked there, I was genuinely proud to do so, now, well now I have to pay to fly them, and I think there are better uses of my money. :)
