Virgin 737-8 Max Business Class - No Divider

Flew SYD-DPS on 04/07, as Platinum in Row 4 with myself, wife and 2 kids. I would have hated to have paid money for business class. No divider, constant stream of people using the toilet. Completely separate issue, but geeze it would be good if Virgin could get some proper pre order hot meals happening, shouldn't be that hard, and they should be able to make money from it. The constant running up and down the aisles by staff every time someone orders a toastie or the only other hot option, tortellini, seems crazy.

I'm sure their parent/s found it hilarious too and were helpful in stopping that unnecessary behaviour  A few times is fine, but not the whole flight or an extended period.

Well now that VA are allowing pets on board.....perhaps now is the time for kid free flights. 😁

I jumped on QF497 last night from SYD to MEL, and I was reminded that VA isn't so bad after all.

The plane was absolutely filthy (737-800) and seating that looked like something from the 90's.
What's missing? Ohhhh a divider lol ;)

The business class seats in VA's 737's are MUCH better than these on QF, by a long shot!

Before this, I was on their 787 from Santiago to SYD (QF28), with my window cracked, when I advised the cabin crew (4 hours into the flight), she asked rudely why I didn't tell them before takeoff (didn't notice it - sorry, I am not QF maintenance). We ended up directly over Christchurch as they were considering landing there, but they decided to keep heading to SYD.

It was cracked all the way from the top to the bottom, and for me to keep an eye on it and if it cracked further, we may need to drop altitude so we don't suddenly depressurise - needless to say, zero sleep!

Saw the shower curtain divider for the first time since there was talk of it on my SYD-BNE flight this morning

Regarding the cracked window on QF28 - what the?!

I feel like that deserves its own thread.

Would be the inner window, not a big deal, outer window it’s like the passenger would not be here to tell the tale
