I'm feeling really dopey right now - WHERE is the page that shows me which Status Credits are due to expire, or those that expired within the last month?

I view the page a couple of times a year, now I can't find it

[edit, changed points to Status Credits...i've been staring at the computer too long. Is there a way to change the title as well?)

Don't know about that page, but if you find the section about upgrading to the next level, there should be a link that says 'Show Detail' and it will tell you how many status credits you need by particular dates.

Yeah, that's the page. I think the issue is because I'm currently Platinum the "show details" link which lists Status Credit expiration and info on upgrading to next level isn't there at all. Instead I have a "Find Out More" link to on how to Maintain Platinum...bugger!

If you're already Platinum, your "running total" of SCs is irrelevant, isn't it? The only thing you need to worry about is how many SCs and eligible sectors you get in your current membership year (i.e. those earned since your last Review Date). The "expiry" of old SCs doesn't make any difference, as by definition they only expire if they were earned prior to your last Review Date - i.e. those SCs were never going to count towards retaining Platinum anyway.

The relevant information should be easily visible when you click on My Account after logging into Velocity.

I know I won't maintain platinum this year, so i delayed my travels until after I drop to gold so I can maintain gold next year. I keep my own running total and I was 40SC out so wanted to double check, then got totally distracted by the fact I couldn't find that one page

if you drop to Gold I'm pretty sure you have to then get the full 500SC's to re-qualify, not maintain.

Only way is to do an activity search for the last 24 months and note/tally when SC's were earned.

I still don't follow you. Your retention of Gold next year will be solely based on SCs that you earn after your review date this year, so expiry of existing SCs is still irrelevant to your situation as far as I can tell.

SC expiry would be relevant if you were hoping to quickly move back up to Platinum after dropping down to Gold, but SC expiry is never relevant to retaining status, as your SC balance for the purposes of status retention resets to zero at the start of your membership year.

No, that's not correct in my experience. My wife is currently Gold after a soft landing from Platinum, and her online account states that she needs 400 SCs to retain.

agreed ... 400 SC and 4 eligible flights to requalify.

What knowing when SC's would "drop off" can be useful for is when planning to go up a level.

ok cool, my memory isn't what is once was. Pretty good deal isn't it?

I think that VFF has a program or someone that does the movement of info from "steps to achieving increase in status" to the VFF transaction account each month.
Its very different from the QFF system, thats for sure.
Each month, I see I loose SC, but it does not list by how much, an increase in SC will list from flights or from FB, but you will never see a "- SC", the numbers just appear, from your "steps to achieving increase in status".
