Velocity to partner with 7-Eleven

I just won one of their Virgin flights. Return economy domestic class ticket to anywhere in Australia. Where should I go?

Although it would be better if it were QANTAS, as I'm not a frequent flyer with Virgin.
Edit: I'm just the base level with Virgin.
Excellent, nice grab.

I thought about those prizes. It's for 1 isn't it, bit poor I thought, usually most would like to take a +1 or take a nephew, niece etc.
They really should throw in lounge access, c'mon.

Anyway enjoy your trip wherever you go.

I just read the terms and conditions, and it looks like the expiry of the voucher is 3 years after issue date. Well, that sounds great. No pressure to use something I have no immediate use for.

Still getting good deals with the fuel lock in. Locked in $1.58 for 98+ earlier in the week which was a nice saving when it was $1.98 at the bowser here in Perth.

I supposed I've left out a key piece of information. I'm based in Brisbane. Not really all that fussed about when I travel, but would need to give me work advance notice to take leave.
Cairns or Darwin for a nice break somewhere warm.

Only just noticed a Velocity offer expiring tomorrow - 10 SCs for $10+ first eligible spend.

Not sure if it’s targeted but I don‘t recall getting an email. Anyway, could be useful if you have Family Pooling setup. Meanwhile, I might pop out and get $10 worth of petrol.

Yeah I noticed this in the Velocity app. Don't recall receiving an email.

Did anyone actually get the status credits? I got the points but zero status credits came across… Sigh… yet another battle with the Velocity call centre looms…

Transaction on Sunday, got points but haven't had the SCs yet myself either. Only just did my first purchase at 7-11 with this partnership, they're not convenient to me, so we'll see if it ever gets used again.

We did the exact same thing so let’s see what happens!

Each of my family pool members bought $10 worth of fuel. Yet to see any points or SCs. If it's not a prompt transfer or even worse requires prompting from me, then this will not be a partnership I'll bother with.

Points took 3 days… no sign of status credits though…

Yeah was coming here to check the same thing - no 7-eleven near me so had my first chance to use the app when I went to Brisbane last week. Got the regular points pretty quickly but still no SC. Not long after that first purchase I got an email from 7-Eleven saying I would get 200 bonus points (as well as regular points) if I made 2 purchases of any amount over 2 calendar days - 100 points with each purchase. They arrived in my account pretty quickly too. I had to activate the offer from the email as it wasn't in the app.

Edit: and my friend @Snappytom who was travelling with me also used the app for the first time and hasn't got her 10 SC and didn't get the same email as me regarding the bonus 200 points  🤔 🤷‍♀️

Sigh. Who is going to brave the Velocity call centre first…

Is it your 1st shop at 7-11 that's valid for this 10SC's only?
Or just spend 10bux between certain dates & reference 10SCs?

I can't even find the official velocity page for this offer. Gonski, don't even remember ever seeing it.

@Snappytom saw the offer in her My 7-Eleven app while we were setting it up down in Brisbane (as we have no 7-Eleven where we live). I just searched ozbargain and found it - expired now of course.

I did find it a bit ambiguous - was it your FIRST actual purchase using the app or first ELIGIBLE purchase - I took it as FIRST actual purchase so made sure I spent over $10. I didn't buy any of the ineligible things listed below.
