Am planning to fly to Tokyo and back in January in Business. Anyone have any insight into when Virgin will announce the points earn rates for Singapore Air? Or is this still a "how long is a piece of string" question? As I understand it the partnership in its entirety, whilst still in process, is reasonably solid.

Would it be expected that existing bookings (made before the specifics are announced) would qualify for points earn?

Have thought the same, it seems to be making the news but no firm date as yet has been set from what I can see. I am flying Singapore in a months time so I am not sure if any code-share arrangement will be up and running that soon

The indicative timeline was for December, but that was contigent on receiving ACCC approval.
