I’m not sure if this is a joke but a new double point or SC promo has appeared.

Book by 26 October and fly between 12 October and 30 November. This might just take the cake for most limited travel dates.

Needless to say I’ve collected 0 SCs, 3 months into my Gold year and this promo isn’t making me want to rush off and book anything!

Wondering whether Link Airways flights are eligible for this offer.? The T&Cs specify they are eligible for the Double Points but don't mention eligibility for SCs and the SCs are of interest to me.

Probably not as it says Flight operated by Virgin Australia with a VA flight number.

I think the SYD-CBR are the exception as they seem to be considered Virgin Australia flights.

Thanks. It will be CBR > SYD flight so hoping that it should be OK.

One other notable exclusion is that this only applies to flights with a $ value point or SC earn.

So holiday package bookings, domestic flights connecting to international ones and those booked with another airline on the ticket (eg some corporate bookings) are all excluded from this promo (as are fed gov bookings - something QF is yet to exclude).

Given Velocity Frequent Flyer members (“Velocity Members”) can earn or redeem Velocity Frequent Flyer Points (“Velocity Points”) and Velocity Frequent Flyer Status Credits (“Status Credits”) for a Holiday booked via the Holidays by Hopper Portal, subject to Holidays by Hopper Terms and Conditions and Velocity Frequent Flyer Terms I am surprised they are excluded but they are, bit of a gotcha.

Can I confirm that Air New Zeland flights SYD-AKL return don't qualify as even though booked via VA with a VA flight number, it is not operated by VA. So only the VA Queenstown flights qualify from Sydney?
