Last night I booked and paid for a Sydney to coughet(via Perth) flight in J.
One of the deciding factors in my decision to take this flight (why fly direct......) rather than a cheaper and more direct Deathstar 787 flight was the SC yield on Virgin.
According to the Velocity Milage Calculator, which I did check before I purchased, Perth- coughet is 3004 miles, which earns 120SC in J.
However checking my E-Ticket this morning, it states Perth- coughet is 2990 miles, so being under 3001 miles, only earns 80SC.

Could someone 'fix' the Velocity Milage calculator.

Please.

GCMap indicated 2991 :

I would be saving screen shots of that Calculator result and endeavoring to get a claim in for the additional SC's.

Hi vmile,
Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
I can confirm that your status credits earn will be at the 3004 rate as shown on the calculator

We are looking at the discrepancy between the mileage rates shown on the E-Tickets and the Mileage Calculator and will resolve as a priority.

Regards,
