VA749 -- why only available for 9 / 10 March

I redeemed flight VA749 from Melbourne to Gold Coast

however I realized later that this flight is only available on 9 / 10 March

so just worried if the flight will be likely to be cancelled?

I wouldn't be stressed out at all. Sometimes when there is a special event or the demand VA just a one off flight/route.

I think you’ll find it’s an additional flight they put on in peak demand

I have (via a very brief search) VA749 last operating MEL-OOL Sun 8/1/23 - so “changeover day” in the summer school holidays.

9-10 March is leading into the long weekend in Melbourne so no doubt extra demand to OOL for the long weekend…..
