Just booked J CNS-BNE on one ticket and J BNE-SYD-ABX for tomorrow morning and there are two things that I thought were weird.

1. I cant link the bookings and can't check my bags through all the way to ABX? QF can do this even though they are separate tickets.

2. SYD-ABX leg is ticketed as economy as it is not a J destination but when I select seats I can only choose the 4 'business seats' very odd!

Will DJ every get to fixing these 'Minor Problems'?

Happy Flying! B330

Short answer: When they switch to the new Sabre reservation system this should be fixed. Will begin implementing this year but due for completion early next year.

Interesting. I fly SYD-ABX every second week, and as Platinum I'm usually seated in 3A which has the extra leg room, but it the first row of Economy.
The reservation system does not usually let anyone select rows 1 or 2 on SYD-ABX, and even in the lounge [so they say, at least] the system won't let staff move people into rows 1 or 2 at the moment until they work out what's happening with a Business offering on the route.
What date are you flying SYD-ABX and it's showing the 4 business seats (rather than the 8 premium economy seats)?

I am on the 1500 service today. It is showing the 8 seat premium cabin with only the window seats choosable. No economy seats are available for selection

thats good news.

Will I only have to put my velocity number in once to check a booking as well?

thats really annoying, i need to do it three times, whereas once im logged in with QF, thats it i can do it all.
