VA Points / SC Credits - Anyone notice how slow it has become recently

What a poor effort... had to follow up... this is a VA flight on VA metal.. 2 May until 13 May

Flew on Friday 5th and still waiting for points/SC - really not good enough. On Sat 6th I flew QF and the SC and then double SCs all posted by Tuesday. Come on VA!
 
Was going to post a similar thread. Been 7 days since my SQ flights and no sign of points or SCs ( VA ticket)
traveled thru the states 3weeks ago, and the DL flights posted within 48hrs. Then NZ BNE-AKL-LAX posted within 4 days.

I contacted VFF thru FB and was told to wait 2 weeks before filing a missing points claim. So the 2 weeks is up, and still nothing in my account. I don't need the SCs or points currently, have re-qualified for WP, but these extra points will push me over the amount needed to gift SG. Just a pain iif I have to submit a missing points claim, as there are 5 flights for me and same for my partner.
 
After 4-5 days I gave up waiting and the mobile app was showing 'No Points Earned' next to the flights under the booking tab, so I submitted a claim which was approved the next day. Waiting for two weeks is rubbish when Flybuys can credit points to Velocity instantly and Skybus within 24 hours.
 
I just called as a flight from last Monday hadn't been credit.
They credited the flight immediately and also apologised saying the're an issue with the crediting of Virgin Australia flights at the moment.

For VA flights

Don't listen to the call centre on this one.. If you have not seen it in say 4 -5 days the online claim works pretty good and normally yields a result in about 24 hours

Not sure on partner claims, I think this requires a bit more time and documentation.
 
I had 5 flights in the last 3 weeks, only 2 have been credited, and both are the later flights of same reservations. I have no idea what happens with Velocity but they really need to fix their system asap! Still waiting for 65 SCs!

How did you lodge the claim for the 12th ? I tried today for a flight last week, and it came up with a msg, I'd have to wait 14days before putting the claim in ( this was on MI metal VA ticket)
 
Did four flights between 8th and 9th of May, only two credited.

Did lodge points claim online on the 9th due to previous issues of them taking ages to credit.

Ended up calling velocity today and had the other two credited on the spot, the lady mentioned any flights after the 1st of May could face issues.

Sounds like they did an IT Upgrade and some how that went wrong :p

I lodged a claim online on the weekend for Mr Jurahn's flights on 8 May - one has now posted, the other one hasn't and is just sitting there with a status of "Claim Submitted". Thought I might as well put claims in for his other two flights as well - the system accepted the claim for the flight on 10 May, but is telling me that the details for the one on 13 May "have already been submitted" (which they haven't). Looks like I'll be making a call to Velocity ...

All mine were VA metal, so can claim immediately.

VA operated and marketed flights can be done after travel ... partners need to wait 14Days
 
For the record: 10 days to post.

Worth the wait. What used to be 10 SCs each way posted as 15 and 25 under new fare structures!

Pethaps its these variations causing the delays?

i didn't bother with a retro claim because the trip was still showing in 'My Bookings'. So I knew it would turn up eventually. Probably would be different story if it meant the difference to retaining or gaining higher status.
SCs for SYD-SIN on SQ posted this morning for flight yesterday arvo (<24 hrs).....
