    Good morning all,

I am about to book some tickets for VA / NZ code share next year. As VA Silver Lounge membership. Do I get access when travelling on the code share routes in NZ and leaving AU? It's my first international since I purchased my lounge membership. I understand it's the Koru lounges I will get into?

I'm confused as to what you are referring to; Do you have VA Lounge membership that you purchased at a discount rate as a VFF Silver, or referring to the two complimentary passes you get as a VFF Silver member??

VA Lounge membership grants you access to Koru lounges when flying Trans-Tasman & NZ Dom. flights. The free passes can only be used at VA Lounges within Oz

Sorry - should have reread. It was lounge access day of travel. Did have a look on website but just wanted to be extra sure before I buy the tickets

When flying across the ditch from MEL, you can actually use both the VA lounge before security and the NZ Koru lounge after security, if you have enough time (I did this a couple of months ago). FYI, the MEL Koru lounge is tiny and was very crowded when I was there (struggled to get a seat). The VA lounge is much nicer. The only better feature of the Koru lounge is that it has spirits on offer, which the VA lounge doesn't.

By contrast, the NZ Koru lounge at CHC was very nice! Large and not crowded.

VA Silver does not get you into any lounge.

That's not correct - Silver members receive two complimentary passes for domestic lounges.

I don't think paid membership gets you into the lounge for international flights, unless its been changed recently
