Hi all, I have an upcoming VA flight from Sydney to Denpasar and am wondering what the lounge access situation is at Sydney given my Aeroplan 50k status.

As I understand it, Velocity Gold and above can use the Air NZ lounge when flying out of Sydney on a VA flight, but is this extended to AC customers in the way it would be for VA domestic travel?

Any clarification would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers

Hello and welcome to AFF @dannyo1 !

I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news but Virgin will not provide lounge access before your flight. Virgin does not operate or partner with international lounges on its international flights, with the exception of the VA flights to Doha on Qatar planes.

If you don't have a credit card that gives you access to an international lounge, you'll have to pay for lounge access in SYD before your flight.
