VA flights now (randomly) posting to Velocity quicker [Dec 2019]

HBA-MEL (VA), MEL-AUH (EY), AUH - MXP (EY). The Etihad flights posted almost straight away. It’s been 10 days and the Virgin leg still hasn’t posted. This always happens with Singapore/Virgin combos too.

Still no sign of the VA/SQ flights on 25/1 and 9/2

Flew BNE-SYD-HKG-LHR Thursday 6th Feb, VS leg posted within 48hrs, BNE-SYD a week later and am still waiting on the SYD-HKG to post.

On Monday 9 Feb I had 489 SC, on the same day flew Melb to Perth earning 15 SC so should have received Gold (total 504 SC).

However on Tue 10 Feb lost 90 SC and hadn’t been credited those 15 SC until yesterday Sat 15 Feb along with an additional 60 SC from various other flights during the week.

So as of today left with a grand total of 474 SC.

Given I technically met the 500 SC required on Monday, should I be giving them a call to plead my case?

Yep. Definitely call or email. They should adjust it manually.

How long does it take for the DL segments of a VA flight to post? My BNE-LAX and LAX-BNE segments posted as soon as the flight touched down. The LAX-SEA and SEA-LAX haven't yet been posted.

Ive found Delta flights post very quickly, how long have you been waiting?

And hubbys Thursday PM MELB-SYD flight didnt update SCs and Points until Saturday afternoon. Double SC promo so hes requal for WP (Oct requal date).

I am doing status run on 7th Mar to AKL as part of DSC offer and my return flight from AKL is on 8th Mar. If I were to achieve the required credits from my flights on 7th Mar, will the credits from 8th Mar be against the requalification or will it be sucked into my transition from SG to WP.

Looking at the current trend of points/credits posting delay , not sure how that would pan out.

You can email them and ask them to adjust it manually. I did that when I had multiple legs when transitioning from silver to gold and then gold to platinum. If the person on the other end says no, then try again.

Up until mid December my flights were consistently posting at 11am on the 3rd day after the flight. Now they take longer

Had the 0635 ADL-MEL-OOL flight this morning and just logged on after arriving at OOL 1035 and the first leg including triple points have posted already. I’m heading back to ADL in an hour so I’ll see check regularly to see how long the second legs takes

Ridiculous! Lodged retro claim with call centre as online claim wouldn't go through for my MEL-SIN-MEL flights and to wait 4 to 6 weeks for a response. Thought it would be easy buying a VA ticket on SQ codeshare. Flew same route a year ago with SQ ticket and the points landed within a week!

I took two flights yesterday ( MEL - OOL and OOL - AKL ). Was hoping to hit platinum for today’s flight however credits for second flight posted ( 951 SCs) and waiting for around 120 SCs for the first leg.

Ive still been flying every week, and up until Friday, all flights were posting within 4hours.
2 flights since Friday, and nothing has posted.

My SYD-BNE flight yesterday morning has already posted! Hope this is a positive sign for Virgin’s future! It was surreal to be at the airport and flying again. Just like old times with lovely Virgin crew. The police and army personnel waiting to check border passes on arrival in BNE even more surreal, but they were friendly and efficient. Grateful to be here especially as flights were booked in February.
