Agree on the random. My DPS-SYD posts in 24 hours. My wife’s (pooled) takes 5 days, only just enough time for me to dump her from the pool and get adult daughter in for a SYD-HKG. Anyway looking good now.

You could swap "poolers" the next day, as its based on the date the flight taken, not when they credit.

flew back from LAX 4/1/20 and only posted points/SC's yesterday. Flight from BNE posted in 24 hours though.

SYD - MCY from Friday and return this morning posted by midday today. Points + Pay

One of two same-day flights posted the day after, the other I'm still waiting for. Will follow it up once the two-week period is up.

Thought I'd follow up on this. Both flights were under the same booking with the same e-ticket number - one posted the day after, the other never did. I tried to claim online but the system bounced back stating it had already posted.

Rang VA and they could see one of the flights hadn't posted and had to manually fix it. A bit of a pain to call but it took only 4 minutes so hardly the end of the world. Hopefully they keep investing in this so same-day / next-day posting becomes the new normal.

I think I'm having the same issues as you but calling them never crossed my mind.
Looks like I'll have to trot down the same path...

Can I ask, what was the specific number that you rang?
Thanks.

I just called 13 18 75 (the one on the membership card) and went through the usual prompts as if for a normal VA booking query. I did get directed to the premium call centre after putting in my VA Gold number so that might have sped up the call however.

I had my PER-ADL VA points and double status uploaded to Velocity only 1 hour after I got home from ADL last week. In November the points took a few days to upload.

Thanks I will give it a go, even though I expect the wait to be much longer as a lowly bronze.

It’s so haphazard. Last week’s outgoing flight posted within 2 hours of me landing, but my return flight is yet to post 4 days later.

Yep I'm having the same experience again - first flight posted almost instantly, second still hasn't posted. I'm thinking there's a systems issue behind this.

Seems random, the in last couple of weeks.

AKL-SYD: posted a couple of hours later
SYD-BNE: posted the next day
BNE-AKL: post before landing

Take it is an very manual process at VA with someone having import them manually?

Its completely patchy. 4 domestic flights this week from Monday.

1 has posted (24 hours)
3 outstanding.

So I think they are still suffering from difficult systems...

I had a similar pattern:
Dec HBA-SYD within 24 hours
Dec SYD-HBA within an hour
Jan HBA-MEL within 24 hours
Jan MEL-HBA 4 days later.
The delay doesn’t really bother me too much most of the time, but it’s horrible when you’re on the cusp of a status upgrade and you have an impending flight that you want lounge access for. Hopefully they’ll iron out the posting inconsistencies soon.

Just reporting back, my Xmas flights posted this morning.
That's like a 3 week delay.
Oh wells, better late than never I suppose.

My status upgrade was processed on the 25/12/19 and shows on the APP, but just noticed when you log-on to book an flight the booking engine still has my old status guess thats why I'm not seeing any better seat selection yet....

Flew MKY-BNE on Friday, i used the fly ahead benefit. That evening, I received 2 lots of SCs and points for both the original and earlier flight.
The next morning, only the correct flight taken was still there.

Flew SYD-MEL late last night, landed just before midnight. Flight had credited by the time I got up this morning.
I'm starting to wonder if departure airport factors into this, perhaps something to do with the boarding information being delivered back to Velocity.

Do you mean VA IT have different carrier pigeons in different airports delivering the information back to the Village?

Sometimes it’s so slow it feels like that :)
