It was actually aviation fire and rescue service. And a NSW ambulance. Guy didn't look too good going off the plane, but at least he was alive.

All AFF (Aviation Fire Fighters) have senior first aid certificates on entry and are capable of assisting in a medical situation whilst also acting as an escort for the paramedics.
