Sometimes it would be better if Virgin said nothing. 99% don’t care one bit about this, target audience is tiny.
The target audience of passengers on the specific flights is obviously small. But it’s far larger in terms of the LGBTG and ally market for the rest of the year.

As social messaging it’s important in terms of inclusion.

That’s totally embarrassing. It’s Friday 28th February 2025.
$269 as Flex Y. Can’t see J available.
Think it would be a fab flight but I have no intentions of flying into SYD that day.

See I dismissed a pride flight as the promotion, because they did all that earlier in the year. Is VA trying to be Airline Influenza of the year?

Meanwhile they don't even mention/celebrate Australia Day, which is even bigger in terms of that market.

Only inclusive for some apparently.

Have booked on VA1978, good excuse to fly to Sydney with some flair!
If there's a subsequent double SC/points promotion you're interested in, you can still cancel the booking for a credit and then use it to rebook the same flight given it's a Flex (Flair-x?) fare...

True, but that’s a national event with a public holiday, and a self-driven market (people will travel and will choose VA, QF and JQ). Pride is niche and probably lends itself to private sector marketing and sponsorship.
