I am going to do the EOA at SFO next month.
I know i will need to show the CBP officer my passport and drivers license.
But do i need to bring a copy of my GE application or GE related emails ?
And out of curiosity, does the officer take a print of all your fingers, or just the index / thumb?

Arrived DFW local date 11th March, completed Global Entry interview on arrival, no additional questions simply photo & fingerprints. Did not require drivers licence or any additional proof of identity. Another officer may have a different approach. Advised could be 6-8 weeks for processing but upon checking Trusted Traveller app GE number showed instantly.

Very impressed with the processing speed. First applied on a Saturday early morning AEDT and conditionally approved <48h later - AusCheck also approved at 02:36 so has to be batch checks.

Arrived into DFW on QF7, informed the people at the head of the immigration queue that I wanted to do Global Entry on Arrival, they pointed me towards the Green Card line (which had no one in it), all done in about 3 minutes, email confirming enrollment about 1-2 hours later.

FWIW there was no immigration queues and no security queues at all at DFW during my connection.

I applied on a Wednesday, didn't think to check my junk mail but the invite was there on the Thursday. I discovered it on Monday and was approved by the end of the day. Arriving at LAX in June so will complete the process then.

Completed EoA at LAX, very simple process just after baggage collection in the customs section. Approval couple hours later. Also completed Clear+ sign-up as well at LAX, very streamline with both now.

More updates.
At 1:36pm AEST I got an email saying my AusCheck background check was complete.
At 2:00pm AET I got an email from US CBP advising I have conditional approval and am invited to complete the enrollment process.

That was faster than I expected! I'll do my interview on arrival into LAX in April.

I did my EOA interview on 9/4 at LAX. When I entered in the MPC queue, the CBP agent reminded me that my GE was pending, and if I had time, I could do my interview on arrival.
I collected my suitcase, made my way to the interview area. No queue, quick interview, all fingers taken, no need to show license, just my passport. The only question I somewhat struggled to answer was why I wanted GE/how I was going to use it. I blathered on about work trips and holidays with my kid.

I still haven't received the promised email of my approval, but I check the website before 6pm that night, and the approval was complete.
I'd put my PassID/KTN into my AA booking for the next day, but the approval hadn't made its way through the system. It was through a week later when I flew PIT-LAX-SYD. Ironically at PIT, the TSA Pre-Check line was longer than the normal line.
