I'm using the OW Explorer planning and booking tool to work up a DONEx for next year.

If I put in some city pairs such as PHX-CLT or PHX-SFO, the calendar shows 'direct flights scheduled' on given dates but when click on such a date to search for flights, I get either nothing (PHX-SFO) or connections via DFW (PHX-CLT).

If I get on the AA web site, direct flights show - as operated by US Airways, but with AA flight numbers.

It would appear that US Airways flights, even with an AA flight number are not yet integrated properly into the OW tool.

Does anyone know what is happening in this regard?

Just another bug in the tool.
Just about every US flight now has an AA code on it. Normally the same as the US number.
All US Express flights ex LAX are now American Eagle.
US Clubs are being rebranded as AA Admirals Clubs.
The AA and US FFPs are being merged in April.
The AA and US computer systems are also being merged in April (or so AA staff at SFO told me).

In 6 months time, there will be little left of US Airways.
