QF WP, although you are probably looking forward to getting back to your family after a week of eating and drinking in Perth.. are you interested in an impromptu MaM in Brisbane City on Friday afternoon? I'm in the city for a meeting (maybe lunch if I'm lucky) but free after that... If you are free maybe you could use your secret moderator powers to see if there are any other BNE AFFers interested in a bevvie :)

UpInTheAir:), I presume you mean Fri 29th - we'll have to start a new thread for that :D. Don't think I have any plans but will have to wait to see what my staff have done (made any appointments) on my return.

Yep.. talking about the 29th... If you can't make it maybe Mrs QF WP deserves some time away from the QF WP juniors?? Besides.. you don't even drink champagne:eek:

She wouldn't be able to make it into the city as she'd be picking up the kids from school - so you'll just have to suffer with my company (and anyone else we can drag along)

There is a Dan Murphy's Craft Beer Showcase on Thursday 29th if you want to come along to that, I've already got my tickets, and they're still available. The Champagne event of the same nature was a lot of fun.

Otherwise, I can certainly come up for the Friday night, or meet afterwards on Thursday, and you get to meet a Social Ambassador too :p
 
I haven't been to any AFF meetups yet, but will be around tomorrow afternoon (as most Friday afternoons) having a couple somewhere.

Don't know exactly where I'll be, but it will be somewhere where they sell Pacific Ale on tap.

If you could let us know where that is, we can get a venue in the first post and choose a time to gather. :)
 
Are we talking before or after 4 pm?

I can probably get away from about 3 pm, but if you're thinking after 5 pm, that will scratch a few places off the list as being too hectic.

[I don't really mind about the Pacific Ale if you have a suggested venue - that's just my usual plan!]
 
I'm free tomorrow afternoon, may even drag the missus for her first AFF event.
If you find a good BYO place I can donate one of my World Cup Tattingers :)
 
I'll miss this one as I'm heading up the coast at 3pm. What a shame, my building is only 2min from the trans.
