Back on here (although it looks like a first point) and have a beginner question. If I book a business class flight and upgrade to First with points to, do I earn any points at all for the flight? (particularly Tier miles)
Also, I building a decent amount of Velocity points, still have 100k or so Etihad points, and my Gold Etihad membership is due to run out soon.
Can anyone offer any advice or point me in the right direction? I fly to Europe mainly (from Melbourne) but have not been required to fly for over a year and would like to try and keep my status and use my points for these flights as effectively as possible.
