Upgrading QF return flight combined with QF/EK flight outbound

Hi all,

Have booked outbound Sydney to Europe on a QF codeshare with Emirates to Rome (Q class fare), returning from London to Sydney of QF10 and on to Sydney on QF 582. The return leg is an S fare.

Can anyone confirm if I will be able to request an upgrade with points on the return leg? Assume it should be fine as it's S fare, QF metal.

Yes, you can request upgrades when booked in S on QF metal.
