My parents are travelling on EK in J and looking at upgrading to F on one of the legs. The cost is being quoted at 78,000 points for the 2 of them on the same PNR (when I look in my father's account) - the upgrades are currently only available for "waitlist".
My parents each have around 40,000 points (in separate accounts), so could each upgrade, but not enough in 1 account to upgrade both. Is it possible for each upgrade to be requested based on each persons available points - rather than having all the points in the one account?
We don't want to transfer the points due to the exorbitant fees for this.
