Has anyone upgraded from J to F at the airport on EK?

Travelling SIN-BNE on EK (booked on a QF flight number) so can't use points but keen to pay for the upgrade if it's not huge.
 
Do you have any Qantas status? EK is good with that.

You might find you are upgraded then. :p. Make sure your QF number is plugged into the Emirates website using the QF booking reference.
